Ahhh! The Finals

So this is how I will be feeling the next few days, fortunately I only have 3 exams, unfortunately they are Advertising, Business Law, and Economics, and what's worse I have a serious case of senioritis. Oh well I gotta get it done...Let me get off of here and get back to work. Friday after the final facial and massage for me, I'll deserve it ;).

Oh and if your wondering yes it's an ascot, and yes it's Ralph Lauren, sartorialism isn't a style it's a state mind. Be well and be "swell".

It's our Anniversary

I've kind of slowed down on the whole nightlife thing here in Austin, not that I don't enjoy going out but I often find that it gets very monotonous, so I go out when it's worth my while. One such occasion is First Fridays (from the name I'm sure you can derive when it takes place) and this month marked there two year anniversary. While a lot has taken place with the event it's still a wonderful atmosphere where I often have the opportunity to converse and party with old friends and make new ones. A big thank you goes to Mr. and Mrs. Andre' Gaddis who always take care of me when I go.

She said she likes my Duckie...I'm fresh...

Black indeed is beautiful...

With the first 100 days of our first President of color recently concluded, I was pleasantly surprised to come across an article in the Times via selectism.com regarding about the Museum of African American History and Culture in the Smithsonian. While Congress announced its inception in 2003 it is finally getting underway. Architects have 3 years to turn in their submission and blueprint for its design and the actual museum is scheduled to officially open in 2015, it will be exciting to see the cultural colorful pictures we've painted by then.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness

With the swine flu driving everyone to paranoia it's important to remember what our President said that this virus can easily be contained if we practice common sense, covering our mouths when we cough or sneeze, and washing our hands, or sanitizing them if we can't get to some soap and water...with that said here are some recommendations for sanitizing options which can be found at most of your local CVS, Walgreens,or online at drugstore.com .

I have to say lately I've been seeing a lot of dry hands coming out of restrooms, so you better believe I have my sanitizer on me, I mean c'mon people...That's just nasty!
