I had the pleasure of coming across the urban gentleman and it contained a very interesting piece about sapuers. What is that you ask? Or rather or who are they is a better question. Sape is French slang for “dressing with class”. "Sapuer" is an African word which refers to someone who dresses with great elegance and flare. These Congolese gentlemen not only embody a look but a lifestyle that personifies elegance, tact, refinement, and ediquette.
