Google Him

The International Center of Photography has several ongoing fashion photography exhibit for but one that really interested me was the Martin Munkácsi exhibit called Munkacsi's Lost Archive. Munkacsi a Jewish German actually began as a sports photographer in the early 1900's. And while he's most remembered for his fashion photography shooting for Die Dame (a German publication) and Harper's Baazar capturing the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Leslie Howard, Jean Harlow, Joan Crawford, Jane Russell, Louis Armstrong, and Fred Astaire, he also photographed many pivotal moments during World War II including "The Day of Postdam" and Adolf Hitlers most trusted officials. Check him out...
