"Brace" yourself

While most of us understand the difference between suspenders and braces there are some who may not. Simply put suspenders are connected with a brass clips, while braces are attached to trousers with buttons using leather tabs at the ends.

Suspenders are less professional or formal than standard braces so I definitely enjoy seeing them worn with jeans or chinos as an alternative to belts, but if your throwing on a suit invest in your tailor putting in some buttons and throw on some braces.
