With the first 100 days of our first President of color recently concluded, I was pleasantly surprised to come across an article in the Times via selectism.com regarding about the Museum of African American History and Culture in the Smithsonian. While Congress announced its inception in 2003 it is finally getting underway. Architects have 3 years to turn in their submission and blueprint for its design and the actual museum is scheduled to officially open in 2015, it will be exciting to see the cultural colorful pictures we've painted by then.
